Condition Of Items

Please remember that many of these items are up to 60+ years old. Therefore some deterioration occurs such as:

• Yellowing and cracking in cellophane parts of packaging

• Brown “age spots” on paper, cardboard and fabric

• Shelf Wear(creasing and rubbing on paper parts of packaging)

• Glue and sticky tape no longer sticky, but leave a brown residue

• “Pleather” / faux leather fabric deteriorates and shreds

• Some lamé fabric (silver, gold surface) and flocking/suede finishes become thin or disappear, leaving the white base fabric

• Elastic loses its stretchiness and may discolour

• Rubber bands in hair deteriorate and may leave discolouration or residue in hair

• Plasticiser leaches out of plastic leaving stickiness /a white residue, both of which can be cleaned off

• Plastic deteriorates leaving discoloured spots such as pale spots on tan legs and green spots on black legs – these generally cannot be removed

• Plastic parts of the doll fade / yellow / become translucent

• Some clothing stains the doll’s body

• Jewellery (earrings, necklaces) can cause discolouration on ears, neck

• Batteries may likely no longer work or may have leaked

• The reaction between hard and soft plastic at joints may result in arms and legs falling off, even inside boxes without having been touched

We have attempted to show any obvious damage in the photographs which are the main part of the descriptions. We are unaware of the condition of an NRFB items apart from what is visible and will not accept returns for NRFB items under any circumstances. Therefore it is very importantly to choose wisely or ask beforehand.

​Return Policy 

​You may return any items other than NRFB (Never Removed From Box) items if the item is not substantially as described.

Please advise you are returning it within 2 days of receipt.

The buyer is responsible for return postage costs and the item must be returned in its original or comparable packaging.

If you need to return an item, please Contact Us with your order number and details about the product you would like to return. We will respond quickly with instructions for how to return items from your order.

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of sending your package, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. Currently there are lengthy delays in delivery of items.

Shipping Policy

We only offer combined flat rate shipping only in boxes (other than small padded (bubble) envelopes.

We only use Australia Post to ship. Items are shipped out once or twice a week. Pick up by you from Newport Qld (north of Brisbane) can be arranged.

Prices shown will be for Parcel Post (Australia Post) only. Please email to advise if you want Express Post, extra insurance or registered mail which are usually an additional cost. Currently there are some delays with packages, even when sent using Express post.

To give you an approximate idea of packing and shipping cost for one item via Parcel Post anywhere in Australia:

-     A padded (bubbled envelope) - $10.30 up to 500gms inc tracking. 
-     A small Parcel Post box measuring 220x160x70mm - $13.50 inc tracking.
-     A medium box measuring 300x230x120mm - $11.50 inc tracking - up to 500gms
-    A large Parcel Post box measuring 390x280x140mm - $16.50 inc tracking.
-    An extra large Parcel Post box measuring 420x277x168mm – $21.50 tracking
-    Anything larger prices will be supplied upon request*
